What to Expect: Personalized Planning
Step One and Step Two: Technology
There will be two pieces of technology that guests should become familiar with after securing a Disney World reservation with us. MyDisneyExperience.com (Disney specific technology) and CharacterLocator.com (agency specific technology). Read further along for details.
Step One: MyDisneyExperience
After booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with Mouse Class Travel, we ask our guests to set up a MyDisneyExperience account and email our team your username and password. We make sure everything is set up properly such as linked resort reservation, theme park tickets, and family and friends. We will use MyDisneyExperience to book dining reservations and schedule FastPass+ for all ride selections. Follow this link to get started!
After logging in, we ask that you add your cell phone number and credit card number to your profile. The cell phone number is so Disney may send text alerts such as Room Ready alerts, changes to FastPass+ or other notices. The credit card inside your MyDisneyExperience account is not visible after you add it. Anyone logging into your account, including Disney staff, cannot access your card information. Disney requires a credit card on file to make dining reservations. Your card will only be charged $10 per person for no-shows.
Disney asks that you set a PIN number. This is so you may use your MagicBands for charging privileges once you arrive. MagicBands may be used for charging throughout the Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts, including Signature Restaurants and Popcorn Carts. You may set your PIN at the front desk of your resort when you first check-in. Read more about check-in procedures here.
Step Two: Character Locator
Each planning guest will receive a complimentary subscription to CharacterLocator.com
We send our guests login details shortly after booking a vacation package with us. Inside CharacterLocator.com is where we build our clients plans and eventually, layout each day of their vacation in a neat digital time-ordered list.
After you select Touring Plans, be sure you are scrolled to the top of the page and look for the blue hyperlink with your family name. Example, Disney World Trip Outline (12/13-12/22 Lisa Thompson)
After you select the blue hyperlink, you will see a list of tabs as shown below. Please read through each tab one at a time as you make your way through narrowing down your plans.
Step Three: Choosing Park Days
Approximately six and half months prior to check-in day, KennythePirate will release his highly sought after Disney World crowd calendar. Once the calendar for our guests time of travel is released, we will reach out with the suggested days based on the parks they plan to visit. Our guests do not have to keep track of the release, we monitor due dates daily.
Guests plans are built in CharacterLocator.com under Menu>Touring Plans using their complimentary subscription to the site. Once park days are selected we will add them to the touring plan in date order.
Step Four: Dining Wish List
At any time after booking a Disney World vacation, our guests may begin creating a dining wish list. Watch our video on how to create a dining wish list. We will implement guests dining into their plans to optimize eating times. It is important to make sure dining does not coincide with low crowd touring times throughout the day or during fireworks and other high priority shows.
Disney Dining Reservations
180-days prior to guest check-in day, we will secure their dining reservations. Once the reservations are secure, we will add them to our client's plans inside CharacterLocator.com along with reservation number, menu and arrival time.
Step Five: FastPass+
60-days prior to guest check-in day we log into MyDisneyExperience to make FastPass+ selections. FastPass+ is included with Theme Park admission.
Mouse Class Travel sends our personally designed digital list of all the attractions, entertainment experiences, and character experiences including seasonal experiences before the 60-day FastPass+ window. The digital list is created inside the Touring Plans section of CharacterLocator.com We ask all guests to narrow down the digital list we send them for each of the theme parks they will enjoy. To narrow the list, our guests simply remove the items they do not wish to enjoy. If only particular guests will ride certain rides, simply add the names of the riders directly onto that ride in our list. If a guest wants to know more about a ride, such as height requirements or other details, simply expand on the item to read more.
For guests who wish to take midday breaks, start later in the day or park hop, all one has to do is communicate this to us and we will make it happen!
KennythePirate uses his logistical genius to determine what is best to FastPass+ and helps each guest utilize all three Fastpass+ including each incremental FastPass+ that all guests receive throughout the day after they use the first three.
Step Six: Magical Touring Plans
Approximately one week prior to arrival, KtP will put everything in time order. Each day of your vacation will be laid out in digital format from wake up until sundown. Our plans can be as relaxing or as busy as our clients wish! By directly communicating with all of our clients, we can offer the most personalized plans. By being inside the parks putting plans to practice on a weekly basis, we are able to guarantee lower wait times and a lot more fun!
